Summary

Supervise security operations, protecting property and life; requires investigative skills and federal experience at GS-09 level.

Join our team as a Security Guard (GS-11) to oversee critical security operations. This role demands strong leadership in protecting property and life, combined with investigative skills.

  • *Key Responsibilities:**
  • Provide guidance and supervision for property protection against hazards (fire, theft, damage, accident, trespass).
  • Maintain order and ensure life safety.
  • Utilize investigative techniques and prepare comprehensive reports.
  • *Required Qualifications:**
  • **Experience:** One year of specialized experience at the GS-09 level, specifically including:
* Supervising property security operations. * Maintaining order and protecting life. * Applying investigative techniques and report writing.
  • **Medical:** Must possess good near/distant vision, ability to distinguish colors, and conversational hearing.
  • **Federal Employees:**
* **Time-in-Grade:** 52 weeks at the GS-09 level. * **Competitive Appointment:** At least three months in a non-temporary competitive appointment.
  • **Veterans' Preference:** Competition is often restricted to veteran preference eligibles.
  • All requirements must be met within 30 days of the announcement closing date.
