Supervisory Public Affairs Specialist

We are seeking a highly experienced Public Affairs Specialist to lead strategic communications and media relations. This role involves developing and executing comprehensive communication plans for a complex organization.

• *Responsibilities:**
• **Strategic Communication:** Plan, organize, and implement diverse communication strategies to advance public affairs goals and promote organizational programs, products, and services.
• **Content Development:** Independently write, edit, and prepare a wide range of communication materials, including news releases, fact sheets, brochures, blogs, and web content.
• **Complex Subject Matter:** Develop communications related to intricate subjects such as crime, law enforcement, legislation, trials, court decisions, financial markets, scientific research, or technology.
• **Media & Public Relations:** Act as a primary liaison with the public and news media, representing the organization effectively.
• **Stakeholder Engagement:** Maintain robust communication channels with management, the public, media, and government officials.
• *Requirements:**
• One year of specialized experience managing complex public affairs and communication strategies.
• Demonstrated expertise in independently writing and editing diverse communication materials on complex topics.
• Proven ability to interact effectively with the public and news media.
• Strong track record of maintaining communication with various stakeholders, including management and government officials.
