Job Description
Summary
Manage weapon systems acquisition, implement procurement policies, oversee projects, drive improvements, and provide senior-level advisement.
We are seeking an experienced professional with at least one year of specialized experience at a senior level (equivalent to GS-12) in the Federal service, or comparable experience in the private or public sector.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Utilize a wide range of technical and business systems to manage weapon systems acquisition.
- Review, analyze, and implement higher-level procurement policies.
- Manage project and program requirements, objectives, and metrics, resolving conflicts among schedules, funding, and resources.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and best practices through customer feedback, audits, and lessons learned.
- Advise management and colleagues on complex problems, conduct special studies, propose options, and represent the command.
- Both paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work, will be considered.*
