Supervisory Personnel Security Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled individual to manage complex personnel security programs at the GS-12 level. This role requires at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level.

• *Key Responsibilities:**
• Apply comprehensive knowledge of personnel security laws, regulations, and policies.
• Conduct thorough reviews of background information, including security forms, credit reports, and criminal records, to determine suitability for security clearances.
• Coordinate requests for sensitive applicant information and draft support letters for management.
• Manage and track cases, ensuring deadlines are met, using automated databases.
• Perform sensitive applicant interviews to obtain critical information.
• Generate accurate reports from tracking databases.
• Process requests for high-level security clearances, such as Top Secret.
