Job Description
Summary
Provide critical legal research and document support for civil litigation, assisting attorneys with case strategy and preparation.

- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Conduct specialized legal research to support various civil litigation cases.
- Analyze initial pleadings and case files to determine claim nature and agency support needs.
- Prepare, process, and finalize a range of legal documents for court filing, including responsive pleadings, stipulations, motions (e.g., to dismiss, for summary judgment), supporting memoranda, statements of material facts, and discovery responses.
- Contribute to litigation strategy development through independent judgment and attorney consultation.
- Provide attorneys with critical information, analysis, and recommendations.
- Organize and maintain all litigation and trial-related documents, discovery requests, exhibit and witness lists, and jury instructions.
- *Required Qualifications:**
- One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level in Federal Service, focused on civil litigation.
- Demonstrated expertise in legal research, document drafting, and case management specific to civil litigation.
- Ability to apply independent judgment and provide analytical support in a legal environment.
