Summary
Lead senior aviation safety programs, managing risk, analyzing data, and developing mitigation strategies.
We are seeking a highly experienced professional to manage and enhance critical aviation safety programs. This role involves leading advanced safety initiatives and ensuring compliance within a federal service environment.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Lead the development and implementation of Aviation Safety Management Systems (SMS) and Safety Risk Management (SRM) strategies.
- Conduct thorough research, gather, and analyze data to identify the root causes of safety issues.
- Formulate and implement effective risk mitigation plans.
- Oversee comprehensive safety programs, including setting safety goals, defining necessary resources, assigning work, establishing project timelines, and ensuring program accountability.
- *Required Qualifications:**
- Minimum of one year of specialized experience equivalent to the Federal FV-J, FG/GS-14 level.
- Demonstrated experience in leading aviation safety management or safety risk management programs.
- Proficiency in conducting safety-related research, data analysis, and developing risk mitigation strategies.
- Proven ability to oversee safety programs, including resource management, task assignment, and ensuring program compliance.
