## Supervisory Nurse (Clinical)

Join our team as a Supervisory Nurse, where you will lead clinical patient care, develop comprehensive nursing plans, and ensure efficient team operations. We are seeking a highly experienced and licensed professional to oversee patient care and manage subordinate staff.

### Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct clinical nursing care following physician-prescribed medical plans and assessments.
  • Set up, operate, and monitor specialized medical equipment.
  • Develop and/or oversee the creation of detailed nursing care plans.
  • Assist in distributing workload effectively among subordinate nursing staff.
### Qualifications:

  • *Basic Requirements:**
  • **Citizenship:** Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • **Education:** A graduate or higher level degree, bachelor's degree, associate degree, or diploma from an accredited professional nursing educational program is required. This education must be accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs (COA-NAEP), Accreditation Commission for Midwifery Education (ACME), or an accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. *Official transcripts are required.*
* **For Foreign Degrees:** Official certification from the Commission on Graduates of Foreign Nursing Schools (CGFNS) is required.
  • **Licensure:** Possess a current, active, full, and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license or registration from a U.S. State, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, or a U.S. territory. Must have successfully passed the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX).
  • **Federal Employee Exemption (0610 Series):** If you are a current federal employee in the 0610 occupational series and have been continuously employed in this series since September 27, 2017, or before, you are exempt from the above education and licensure requirements. You must instead possess a diploma from a professional nursing program approved by the legally designated State accrediting agency at the time of completion and maintain an active, current RN registration.
  • *Professional Experience:**
  • One or more full years of specialized professional nursing experience that includes:
* Providing clinical nursing care and patient assessment. * Setting up, operating, and monitoring specialized medical equipment. * Developing and/or overseeing the development of nursing care plans. * Assisting with workload distribution among subordinate employees.
  • *Note: For this position, education cannot be substituted for the required professional nursing experience.*
