Job Description

Summary

Lead HR programs, strategic planning, and employee relations, supervising a team and advising on policy and performance management.

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic professional to manage critical human resources programs and initiatives. This role requires expertise in leadership, HR policy, strategic planning, and complex employee relations within a dynamic organizational setting.

  • *Key Responsibilities:**
  • **Team Leadership & Development:** Supervise and manage a team, including setting performance standards, conducting evaluations, providing mentorship, and resolving employee relations issues.
  • **HR Program Management:** Collaborate with Human Resources on recruitment, performance management, and employee relations, encompassing grievance handling, conflict mediation, and disciplinary actions.
  • **Policy & Procedure Development:** Formulate and disseminate fact-finding and investigative policies, establishing operational procedures for management across various human resources areas.
  • **Strategic Planning & Analysis:** Lead strategic initiatives such as performance metrics analysis, budgeting, hiring plans, and project management, with the ability to develop and present analyses to senior leadership.
  • **Advisory Services:** Provide expert advisory services in performance management, employee relations, and investigative matters, interpreting regulations, conducting policy reviews, and developing effective interventions for problem areas.
  • *Required Qualifications:**
  • One year of specialized experience demonstrating expertise equivalent to a senior professional level (e.g., GS-13 federal equivalent) in a relevant field.
  • Must meet at least three out of five of the specialized experience examples listed above.
