Supervisory Law Enforcement Specialist (Instruction)

The Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) seeks a dedicated Supervisory Law Enforcement Training Specialist (GS-14).

• *About the Role:**

You will lead essential law enforcement training programs, manage personnel, and develop strategic plans to ensure the highest standards of education and operational readiness.

• *Key Responsibilities:**
• Provide comprehensive supervisory services, including assigning work, conducting personnel actions, and adjusting priorities.
• Ensure precise and effective delivery of course outlines and lesson plans to maintain relevant and impactful law enforcement training.
• Formulate and implement short- and long-range strategic plans for the division, aligning with available resources.
• *Minimum Requirements:**
• *1. Selective Placement Factor (Applicants MUST meet ONE of the following):**
• **A.** Possess experience as a sworn law enforcement officer or agent with full arrest authority in the prevention, detection, apprehension, detention, and/or investigation of felony and/or misdemeanor violations of federal, state, local, tribal, or military criminal laws.
• **or**
• **B.** Have held a federal civilian position in the 1801 occupational series.
• *and**
• *2. Specialized Experience (GS-14 Level):**
• One year of experience equivalent to the GS-13 level in the federal service (or comparable public/private sector experience), performing duties such as:

* Executing full supervisory responsibilities (e.g., assigning tasks, managing personnel, adjusting priorities). * Guaranteeing accurate delivery of prescribed course outlines and lesson plan materials for law enforcement training. * Developing divisional short- and long-range plans based on available resources.

• Note: Substitution of education for specialized experience is not applicable for this grade level.*
