Summary
Lead an IT team providing functional and technical support for Navy ERP systems, overseeing operations and personnel.
Join our team as an IT professional providing critical functional and technical support for Navy ERP systems, while leading and developing an IT support team.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Supervise, manage, and mentor a team of IT professionals, assigning tasks and monitoring progress to achieve operational goals.
- Oversee daily IT operations, specifically Navy ERP user management, roles security, and Tier 3 support functions.
- Coordinate with team leads (User Management/Role Security, Readiness Service Center) to meet technology requirements and ensure staffing.
- Enforce HR and personnel policies, including attendance, leave, EEO, and workplace conduct standards.
- Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, identify training needs, and address performance issues.
- Communicate effectively with upper management, prepare reports, and facilitate cross-functional collaboration.
- Serve as a primary liaison between the IT division and other organizational units, fostering a collaborative environment.
- *Required Qualifications & Experience:**
- At least one year of IT experience (federal, private, or public sector) providing functional and technical support for Navy ERP systems, equivalent to GS-12.
- Demonstrated experience in supervising, managing, and motivating IT professionals.
- Proficiency in overseeing IT operations, particularly Navy ERP user management and Tier 3 support.
- Experience in enforcing HR/personnel policies and conducting performance management.
- Ability to communicate complex technical and operational information effectively to diverse audiences.
