## Supervisory IT Specialist (Policy and Planning), GS-15

We are seeking a highly experienced Supervisory IT Specialist to lead IT policy and planning initiatives. This role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and stakeholder engagement to enhance IT service efficiency and reliability for our organization.

### Key Responsibilities:

• Provide administrative oversight and guidance to subordinate IT staff.
• Contribute to the development of engineering business plans and operational IT service guidance.
• Identify and recommend innovative methods to improve IT service efficiency and reliability.
• Represent the organization effectively to senior-level leadership and key stakeholders.

### Required Qualifications:

Candidates must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 level in federal service, including:

• **Administrative Oversight:** Leading and managing subordinate IT staff.
• **Strategic IT Planning:** Assisting in the development of IT business plans or operational service guidance.
• **IT Service Improvement:** Recommending enhancements for IT service efficiency or reliability.
• **Stakeholder Engagement:** Representing the organization to senior leadership or external stakeholders.

Additionally, candidates must demonstrate proficiency in the following IT-related competencies:

• **Attention to Detail:** Performing thorough and accurate work, and reviewing others' contributions.
• **Customer Service:** Assessing needs, resolving complex issues, and building strong relationships with clients.
• **Oral Communication:** Effectively conveying complex information to diverse audiences and making clear presentations.
• **Problem Solving:** Identifying and resolving complex IT issues, evaluating alternatives, and implementing effective solutions.
