Summary

Lead trade and industry competitiveness analysis at the GS-15 level, overseeing projects, staff, and stakeholder engagement.

We are seeking a highly experienced professional for a GS-15 level position, requiring leadership in trade and industry analysis. You must demonstrate senior-level expertise and a strong track record of professional progression.   • *Key Responsibilities (must meet at least four of the following):**
  • Develop proposals for individual studies and research assignments focused on analyzing trade and industry competitiveness, including planning, information assembly, analysis, evaluation, conclusions, and report preparation.
  • Provide oversight to project teams performing research or analysis, taking responsibility for determining methods and scope for accomplishing tasks.
  • Recognize and evaluate factors in domestic and foreign supply and demand, including regulatory and standards matters, to draw rational inferences based on research findings.
  • Plan, distribute, coordinate, and monitor work assignments of others; evaluate work performance and provide feedback; ensure staff are appropriately selected, utilized, developed, and treated fairly.
  • Review written and statistical products prepared by staff for quality control purposes and make critical decisions regarding program outputs and functions.
  • Represent the agency, when required, before other federal agencies and stakeholders to secure cooperation, develop and negotiate cooperative agreements, and collaborate on special projects.
  • *Required Qualifications:**
  • At least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 level in the Federal service.
  • Demonstrated senior-level knowledge and progressively responsible professional experience in the occupation.
  • Experience refers to paid and unpaid work, including volunteer experience, which helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills.
