Supervisory International Trade Analyst

• *Specialized Experience (GS-15):**

Requires at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 level in Federal service. This experience should demonstrate progressively responsible professional experience and senior-level knowledge of the occupation, including at least four of the following six areas:

• Developing research proposals and reports focused on trade and industry competitiveness, encompassing planning, data assembly, analysis, evaluation, and report preparation.
• Providing oversight to project teams performing research or analysis, including defining methods and scope for tasks.
• Evaluating domestic and foreign supply and demand factors, including regulatory and standards matters, to derive inferences from research findings.
• Planning, distributing, coordinating, and monitoring work assignments for others; evaluating performance and providing feedback; ensuring appropriate staff selection, utilization, and development.
• Reviewing written and statistical products from staff for quality control and making critical decisions regarding program outputs and functions.
• Representing the agency before other federal agencies and stakeholders to secure cooperation, negotiate agreements, and collaborate on special projects.
