Summary
Lead secondary education instructional design, development, and evaluation, applying advanced educational theory and specialized experience.
Join our team as a Supervisory Instructional Systems Specialist, focusing on secondary education support. This role involves enhancing educational programs and professional development across grades 6-12.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Develop and deliver professional learning services for secondary education systems at an above-school level (e.g., district, central office).
- Provide expert recommendations on curriculum, instruction, assessment, and programmatic strategies to secondary education leadership.
- Review and analyze curriculum, performance, and program standards for secondary education.
- Evaluate curricula, college/career readiness standards, and assessments for grades 6-12.
- *Qualifications:**
- **Education:** Bachelor's degree or higher, including at least 24 semester hours in four of five key areas: Learning Theory, Instructional Design Practices, Educational Evaluation, Instructional Product Development, or Computers in Education and Training.
- **Experience:** Minimum one year of specialized experience at an above-school level (e.g., district, central office) in:
- **Skills:** Demonstrated competency in Accountability, Instructional Design, and Instructional Program Evaluation.
