Summary
Seeking a Data Engineer to develop, manage, and optimize data ingestion, ETL, and database solutions using SQL and various programming languages.
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Professional to develop, manage, and optimize robust data solutions across their full lifecycle. This role requires expertise in data ingestion, validation, migration, and persistence, along with strong database management capabilities.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Design and develop software for data ingestion, validation, migration, and persistence leveraging SQL/T-SQL.
- Create simple to complex processes for data interrogation and analysis from various sources (e.g., HL7, flat files, databases) using ETL/ELT and advanced SQL.
- Develop KornShell scripts to support data interfaces.
- Manage and administer database systems including SQL Server, MySQL, DB2, and Oracle.
- Utilize diverse programming languages (e.g., SQL Server, SSRS, SSIS, PostgreSQL) to manipulate and persist data.
- *Required Skills & Experience:**
- **Technical Expertise:** Proficient in SQL/T-SQL, ETL/ELT processes, and KornShell scripting. Experience with database management systems like SQL Server, MySQL, DB2, and Oracle. Familiarity with SSRS, SSIS, and PostgreSQL.
- **Core Competencies:** Demonstrated attention to detail, strong customer service orientation, effective oral communication, and excellent problem-solving abilities.
- **Qualifications:** One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the described data development and management duties. This includes paid, unpaid, and volunteer experience; ensure your resume clearly identifies duties and hours per week.
