Seeking an experienced HR professional to manage complex personnel transactions, payroll, and benefits, ensuring compliance and operational efficiency.

Join our team as a seasoned Human Resources professional, driving operational excellence in personnel management. We are seeking a highly skilled individual to manage complex HR transactions, payroll, and benefits in a high-volume environment.

  • *Key Responsibilities:**
  • **HR Compliance & Advisory:** Research, interpret, apply, and advise on Federal HR laws, regulations, and policies concerning personnel transactions, payroll, and benefits.
  • **Operational Management:** Oversee and execute critical HR processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in a high-volume setting.
  • **Issue Resolution & Projects:** Conduct comprehensive reviews and special projects to evaluate and resolve complex operational HR issues.
  • **Communication & Briefing:** Clearly communicate complex HR issues and provide briefings to management and diverse audiences across the organization.
  • *Core Requirements:**
  • One year of specialized HR experience at the SV-I (GS-13) level or equivalent in the private sector.
  • Demonstrated experience in a high-volume HR environment, performing at least five of the following functions:
* Reviewing and processing personnel action forms (e.g., SF-52). * Reviewing and monitoring employee timecards. * Updating and maintaining employee records in HRIS (e.g., USA Staffing, EmpowHR). * Reviewing new hire documentation for completeness. * Responding to HR inquiries from employees and managers. * Resolving employee issues related to personnel, payroll, or benefits. * Supporting employee onboarding processes. * Preparing reports or interpreting HR data. * Understanding HR Information System (HRIS) platforms and functionalities. * Resolving data integrity issues for HR functions.
  • Qualifying experience includes paid and unpaid/volunteer work.
  • Must meet all qualifications by the vacancy closing date.
