## Federal HR Specialist (SV-K/GS-15 Equivalent)
We are seeking a highly experienced Federal HR Specialist to ensure compliance and resolve complex personnel processing and benefits issues within a federal agency. This role requires advanced expertise in federal HR laws, regulations, and procedures.
### Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure agency compliance with federal HR laws, regulations, and policies for personnel actions (SF-50s), electronic Official Personnel Folders (eOPF), and employee benefits eligibility.
- Administer and ensure proper coding of Notification of Personnel Actions (SF-50s) and manage federal employee benefits programs (e.g., Federal Employee Health Benefits, Federal Employee Group Life Insurance, and retirement options).
- Independently research, analyze, and provide expert recommendations for complex personnel processing challenges affecting employees or the agency.
- One year of specialized experience at the SV-J Band or GS-14 Federal level, or equivalent private sector experience.
- Advanced knowledge of federal HR laws, regulations, policies, and procedures, including SF-50 processing, eOPF requirements, and employee benefits eligibility.
- Proven expertise in federal government personnel processing and comprehensive employee benefits programs.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to independently research and propose effective solutions for intricate personnel issues.
- Experience is credited based on a 40-hour workweek; part-time and qualifying volunteer experience (e.g., National Service programs) are proportionally credited.
