Summary
Experienced HR Compensation Specialist sought to manage pay policies, advise leadership, and ensure effective compensation strategies.
Join our team as an HR Specialist focusing on Compensation. This role requires expertise in pay administration, policy interpretation, and strategic advice to support effective talent management and adherence to compensation guidelines.
- *Responsibilities:**
- Analyze, interpret, develop, and implement compensation laws, regulations, policies, and guidance.
- Advise leadership on compensation flexibilities to recruit, manage, and retain employees.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to officials, supervisors, and employees on the full range of pay administration policies, including salaries, wages, special rates, benefits, allowances, and pay retention.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of compensation concepts, principles, and practices.
- *Qualifications:**
- **Option 1:** A graduate-level degree or higher and three years of progressive specialized experience (equivalent to GS-11 level) in compensation concepts, principles, and practices.
- **Option 2:** One year of specialized experience (equivalent to GS-12 level) in federal service or the private sector, demonstrating HR management knowledge in compensation administration. This experience must include analyzing, interpreting, developing, and/or implementing compensation policies, and advising on compensation flexibilities.
