Job Description

Summary

Lead a federal Classification Program, applying expert HR classification laws, communication, and consulting skills at the GS-14 level.

This role involves establishing and managing a comprehensive federal Classification Program.

  • *Key Responsibilities:**
  • Build, establish, and oversee a full Classification Program.
  • Develop position descriptions, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and directives.
  • Conduct position reviews and desk audits.
  • Prepare final classification and Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) determinations.
  • *Required Qualifications (GS-14):**
  • Minimum one year of specialized experience at the GS-13 level (or equivalent).
  • Expertise applying classification law, theories, principles, and practices.
  • Strong understanding of Human Resources management program interrelationships for integrated solutions.
  • Proven ability to communicate tactfully and persuasively to resolve complex, sensitive issues and maintain harmonious relationships.
  • Expert consulting and facilitation skills.
  • **Time-in-Grade (Federal Applicants):** Must have completed 52 weeks at the GS-13 level.
