Job Description
Lead a federal Classification Program, applying expert HR classification laws, communication, and consulting skills at the GS-14 level.
This role involves establishing and managing a comprehensive federal Classification Program.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Build, establish, and oversee a full Classification Program.
* Develop position descriptions, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and directives.
* Conduct position reviews and desk audits.
* Prepare final classification and Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) determinations.
**Required Qualifications (GS-14):**
* Minimum one year of specialized experience at the GS-13 level (or equivalent).
* Expertise applying classification law, theories, principles, and practices.
* Strong understanding of Human Resources management program interrelationships for integrated solutions.
* Proven ability to communicate tactfully and persuasively to resolve complex, sensitive issues and maintain harmonious relationships.
* Expert consulting and facilitation skills.
* **Time-in-Grade (Federal Applicants):** Must have completed 52 weeks at the GS-13 level.
