Summary
Seeking a GS-13 Pay & Compensation Specialist to lead federal pay administration, provide guidance, and interpret regulations.
This role requires an experienced professional to lead and provide expert guidance in federal pay and compensation administration. You will be instrumental in developing, interpreting, and implementing essential pay programs and policies.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Plan and direct work related to pay and compensation administration.
- Provide technical guidance on implementing and administering pay administration programs.
- Interpret and apply pay administration laws, regulations, rules, policies, and practices.
- Offer management guidance on various issues concerning pay practices, laws, regulations, court decisions, and proposed legislation.
- *Required Qualifications:**
- One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level in the Federal government (or private sector/state/local government demonstrating comparable scope and responsibility).
- Demonstrated experience in planning and directing pay and compensation administration work.
- Proven ability to provide technical guidance on pay administration programs.
- Experience interpreting and applying pay administration laws, regulations, rules, policies, and practices.
- Ability to advise management on diverse pay-related issues, including legal and regulatory updates.
