Summary

Lead and manage diverse HR functions including performance, benefits, and employee relations as a GS-13 Supervisory HR Specialist.

The Department is seeking a skilled Supervisory Human Resources Specialist (GS-13 equivalent) to oversee critical HR functions. This role requires an experienced professional to lead and manage comprehensive HR programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage performance management processes, including ratings and incentive awards.
  • Provide expert guidance to managers and supervisors on performance appraisal development.
  • Administer and manage diverse employee benefits programs (e.g., retirement, health, life insurance, savings).
  • Direct employee relations initiatives, offering recommendations and facilitating communication.
  • Oversee accurate time, attendance, and leave processing.
  • Manage and direct personnel action processing, personnel records, and data administration.
  • Monitor and evaluate work assignments, ensuring high performance standards.
  • Provide essential on-the-job training and development to HR staff.

Qualifications:

  • One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level in federal service.
  • Demonstrated expertise in applying HR concepts, practices, laws, and regulations across:
