Supervisory Human Resource Specialist (Direct Hire)

To qualify for this Senior Human Resources Specialist position (SV-K Pay Band, equivalent to GS-15), candidates must possess a minimum of one year of specialized experience at the SV-J Pay Band or GS-14 level in the Federal service, or equivalent experience in the private sector. This specialized experience must include:

• **Federal HR Law & Policy Expertise:** Researching, interpreting, applying, and advising on Federal laws, regulations, policies, and guidelines, particularly in recruitment and staffing.
• **High-Volume Hiring & Candidate Management:** Operating in high-volume hiring environments, coordinating candidate assessment activities, supporting onboarding procedures, and resolving complex candidate issues.
• **Strategic Communication:** Briefing management and effectively communicating complex human resources issues clearly, concisely, and logically to diverse audiences at various organizational levels.
• **Operational Improvement:** Conducting special projects or comprehensive reviews/studies to evaluate and resolve Recruitment and Hiring operational issues.
• *Experience Credit:** Experience is credited based on a 40-hour workweek. Part-time and qualifying volunteer experience (e.g., National Service programs) is recognized and pro-rated. All qualification requirements must be met by the vacancy announcement's closing date.
