Job Description

Summary

Lead employee benefits programs, providing expert advice, strategic oversight, and staff guidance on complex issues.

We are seeking a highly experienced professional to serve as a GS-14 expert.

  • *Qualifications:**
  • **Grade Level:** Applicants must qualify at the GS-14 level.
  • **Experience:** Possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in Federal, State, Local government, or equivalent public/private sector experience.
  • *Key Responsibilities & Experience:**
  • Act as a functional program expert, providing advice and consultation, and making major technical decisions concerning employee benefits.
  • Provide continuous leadership, direction, and guidance to staff.
  • Oversee and independently make strategic decisions regarding office operations and functionality.
  • Conduct comprehensive fact-finding and analytical techniques, interpreting complex data within legal and policy frameworks.
  • Serve as a management advisor on highly complex and difficult issues.
