Summary
Lead healthcare system redesign and performance improvement initiatives as a Supervisory Health System Specialist, requiring strong analytical and management skills.
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supervisory Health System Specialist - Supervisory Facility Systems Redesign Coordinator (GS-13) to lead and manage healthcare performance improvement initiatives.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Supervise an administrative component within a healthcare system, specializing in facility-wide performance improvement programs and projects.
- Develop and implement performance improvement techniques and strategies for continuous quality improvement.
- Collaborate directly with clinicians and local leadership to drive organizational and system-wide change.
- Analyze and coordinate administrative, clinical, and other service activities to enhance healthcare delivery.
- *Minimum Qualifications:**
Applicants must possess at least one (1) full year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level in the Federal Service, or comparable experience in the private sector. This experience must be directly related to the position's work and demonstrate the following:
- Progressively responsible analytical, administrative, clinical management, or supervisory experience in the healthcare field.
- Experience working within a healthcare setting, directly with clinicians and leadership to develop and apply performance improvement techniques.
- Ability to implement organizational and system-wide strategies for continuous quality improvement.
- Knowledge of healthcare delivery systems, regulatory/credentialing standards, and administrative areas (e.g., budget, personnel, procurement).
- *Preferred Qualifications:**
- One year of experience at the GS-12 level specifically in Systems Redesign.
- A combination of two or more of the following certifications/experiences:
