Job Description
Summary
Lead Senior Professional Engineer/Architect for complex military construction, driving innovation and managing federal acquisitions.
This senior-level role requires a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or Architect (RA) to lead complex military construction projects. You will drive technical innovation, manage federal acquisition processes, and mentor junior staff.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Apply advanced engineering/architectural principles to complex military construction (MILCON), demolition, and maintenance/repair projects.
- Integrate proven, cost-effective technical innovations into facility planning, design, construction, operation, and maintenance.
- Guide federal acquisition, project funding, and contracting for shore facilities (design, construction, environmental, planning, real estate).
- Mentor junior engineers and architects, fostering technical skill development and career progression.
- Develop and present technical position papers to support organizational goals.
- *Required Qualifications:**
- **Selective Placement Factor:** Current registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) or Architect (RA) in any U.S. state, D.C., Guam, or Puerto Rico. (Proof required with application).
- **Experience:** Minimum one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 level, demonstrating proficiency in the responsibilities above.
