Supervisory General Engineer

Join our team as a Supervisory General Engineer, overseeing critical engineering projects within medical treatment facilities. This role requires strong technical design review, project management, and leadership skills.

• *Key Responsibilities:**
• Review technical designs (drawings, specifications, cost estimates) to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with design criteria, codes, and standards.
• Prepare and submit comprehensive cost estimates for labor, materials, and equipment for various medical treatment facility projects.
• Monitor and inspect contractor work throughout project implementation, ensuring quality and adherence to plans.
• Lead project personnel, ensuring strict compliance with established policies and procedures.
• *Required Qualifications:**
• **Citizenship:** Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• **Education:** A Bachelor's (or higher) degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program, or an equivalent combination of education and experience demonstrating thorough knowledge of engineering principles (e.g., professional registration, successful FE exam, specific academic coursework, or a related scientific degree with 1 year professional engineering experience).
• **Specialized Experience:** Minimum of one year of experience equivalent to the GS-12 federal level, encompassing: technical design review and recommendation, project cost estimation for medical facilities, contractor oversight, and team leadership to ensure policy compliance.
