Summary

Seeking an Engineer to lead federal energy and sustainability programs, requiring specialized experience in project and budget management.

  • *Position:** Engineering Program Manager (Energy & Sustainability)
  • *Overview:** We are seeking a highly qualified professional to lead and manage critical energy and sustainability programs within the federal service. This role involves developing strategic initiatives, collaborating with key stakeholders, and overseeing project budgets to achieve organizational sustainability goals.
  • *Key Responsibilities:**
  • Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive energy programs.
  • Collaborate with leadership, stakeholders, and government agencies to establish and advance sustainability goals, policies, and performance measures.
  • Oversee and manage energy projects, including budget development and formulation.
  • *Required Qualifications:**
  • *Education:**
  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program (or equivalent coursework).
  • or a combination of college-level education and technical experience demonstrating a thorough knowledge of engineering sciences, evidenced by:
* Professional Engineer (PE) license or Engineer Intern (EI)/Engineer in Training (EIT) registration. * Successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) examination. * At least 60 semester hours in physical, mathematical, and engineering sciences.
  • or a Bachelor's degree in a related scientific field (e.g., Engineering Technology, Physics, Computer Science) *plus* at least one year of professional engineering experience under supervision.
* *Note: Foreign education requires proof of U.S. accreditation.*

  • *Specialized Experience:**
  • One year of experience equivalent to the Federal GS-13 level (or comparable), specifically in:
* Developing, implementing, and managing energy programs. * Collaborating on sustainability goals, policies, and performance measures with leadership and government agencies. * Overseeing and managing energy projects, including budget development.
