Summary
Lead engineering teams in facility repair, revitalization, and maintenance, applying advanced engineering concepts and ensuring asset longevity.
Join our team as an experienced Engineer responsible for leading technical projects and enhancing facility infrastructure. This role focuses on developing and implementing robust engineering solutions to maintain and improve critical assets.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Lead engineering and technical teams on facility repair and revitalization projects.
- Provide expert technical engineering support for ongoing maintenance initiatives.
- Develop and implement maintenance programs, procedures, and safety standards to extend asset life.
- Prioritize project requirements to meet organizational goals for facility condition improvement.
- *Required Qualifications:**
- *1. Experience:**
- Minimum of one year of specialized engineering experience equivalent to the GS-13 level in Federal service (or comparable pay band). This experience must include:
- *Note: Part-time and unpaid experience will be considered.*
- *2. Education:**
- **Bachelor's Degree in Engineering:** From an ABET-accredited program, or a program including differential/integral calculus and advanced courses in five key engineering science areas (e.g., statics, fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, electrical circuits, materials science).
- **or Combination of Education and Experience:** Demonstrated thorough knowledge of engineering sciences through one of the following:
