## Supervisory General Attorney (Tax) - Branch Chief

We are seeking a highly qualified Supervisory General Attorney (Tax) to lead a branch within our legal team. This role requires extensive expertise in tax law and strong leadership skills.

### Key Requirements:

  • **Education:** Juris Doctor (J.D.) or Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree from an American Bar Association (ABA) accredited law school.
  • **Bar Membership:** Active member in good standing of the bar of a U.S. State, Commonwealth, Territory, or the District of Columbia.
  • **Professional Legal Experience (GS-15 Level):**
* Minimum of 1 year of general professional legal experience. * Minimum of 3 years of specialized professional legal tax experience, specifically advising on: * Criminal tax law, Federal Rules of Evidence, and Federal Rules of Criminal Procedure; * or Internal Revenue laws, regulations, and related decisions. * At least one year of this experience must be equivalent to federal GS-14 level work. * *Note:* Only legal experience gained *after* bar admission is creditable.
  • **Education Substitution:** An LL.M. degree in Tax (or a related field) may substitute for the 1 year of general legal experience.
