Summary
Experienced Federal Attorney sought to advise senior officials, lead legal staff, and manage litigation.
The Senior Attorney will provide expert legal guidance and representation for a federal agency. This role involves complex legal analysis, document preparation, and leadership responsibilities.
- *Responsibilities:**
- Identify and analyze complex legal issues, providing practical solutions and recommendations.
- Draft and prepare diverse legal documents, including contracts, dispositions, pleadings, and motions.
- Provide expert written and oral legal advice to senior agency officials on federal statutes, rules, and regulations.
- Specialize in at least two of the following areas: appropriations, procurement, leases/real property, and/or intellectual property.
- Manage a varied legal workload, ensuring timely and effective project completion.
- Lead, supervise, or provide guidance and direction to subordinate legal staff.
- Represent the federal agency in federal court or administrative litigation proceedings.
- *Qualifications:**
- *Basic Requirements:**
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) or Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree.
- Active bar membership in good standing in any U.S. state, territory, District of Columbia, or Puerto Rico.
- *Required Experience (Post J.D.):**
- Four (4) years of experience identifying legal issues, providing analysis, developing solutions, and preparing legal documents.
