Job Description

Summary

Conduct financial research, analyze international investments, and develop strategic policy recommendations for senior officials.

We are seeking experienced financial professionals to conduct in-depth research and develop strategic policy recommendations for senior officials. This role involves critical analysis of international investment issues and complex financial transactions.

  • *Key Responsibilities:**
  • Plan and execute financial research and analysis to support senior leadership policies and strategies on international investment issues.
  • Formulate recommendations for senior officials concerning the legal, financial, national security, or policy implications of various financial transactions.
  • *(For GS-15 level only):* Develop policy and legal recommendations for senior officials regarding corporate merger and acquisition, transactional, and governance documents.
  • *Required Qualifications:**
  • **Specialized Experience:**
* **GS-15:** One year (52 weeks) of experience at a level equivalent to GS-14, including the responsibilities listed above. * **GS-14:** One year (52 weeks) of experience at a level equivalent to GS-13, including the responsibilities listed above.
  • **Time-in-Grade (Federal Employees):**
* **GS-15:** Must have served 52 weeks at the GS-14 level. * **GS-14:** Must have served 52 weeks at the GS-13 level.
  • **Federal Competitive Appointment (if applicable):** Current federal employees must have served at least three months in a non-temporary competitive appointment.
  • Experience may be gained in public, private, or volunteer service.
  • All requirements must be met within 30 days of the announcement's closing date.
