Job Description
Summary
Lead and manage federal facilities operations, security compliance, and staff, ensuring operational excellence.
This is an Excepted Service position at the GS-15 level, offering a unique opportunity to lead critical facilities operations.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Plan and manage comprehensive facilities operations, including space allocation, tenant requirements, design, and resource management.
- Ensure strict compliance with all security standards and applicable administrative and technical policies.
- Supervise and lead staff, covering work assignment, priority setting, performance evaluation, issue resolution, and identifying training needs.
- Collaborate with internal and external organizations on critical facilities, security matters, programmatic issues, and operational strategies.
- *Required Qualifications:**
- A minimum of one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 level in Federal service.
- Demonstrated experience must include all the following: facilities operations planning and management, staff supervision or leadership, and collaboration on facilities and security matters.
- Education cannot be substituted for specialized experience at the GS-15 grade level.
