Supervisory Environmental Engineer

We are seeking a highly experienced Professional Engineer to lead and manage comprehensive environmental compliance programs. This role involves providing expert guidance, overseeing project development, and directing interdisciplinary teams.

• *Key Responsibilities:**
• Provide expert guidance on environmental compliance program requirements (e.g., air, water, waste), including relevant laws and regulations, and resolve compliance issues with regulators and agencies.
• Oversee the development and delivery of environmental compliance products and services, managing contracting, schedules, work performance, funding, and execution.
• Lead and direct interdisciplinary staff in the planning, direction, and execution of environmental compliance programs for the organization.
• *Required Qualifications:**
• **Mandatory:** Current Professional Engineer (PE) registration in any state, the District of Columbia, Guam, or Puerto Rico. (Proof of registration is required with application.)
• At least one year of specialized experience equivalent to a senior federal level (GS-14 or higher), performing duties such as:

* Providing expertise on environmental compliance programs (air, water, waste) and resolving issues with regulators. * Overseeing the development and execution of environmental compliance products/services, including contracting, scheduling, and funding. * Leading interdisciplinary teams in planning and executing environmental compliance programs.

• Experience includes both paid and unpaid work, such as volunteer service, which helps build critical competencies and skills.*
