Summary
Manage technicians overseeing DoD propulsion system test operations, safety, and maintenance within specialized facilities.
We are seeking an experienced professional to manage technical operations within our Propulsion System Evaluation Facility (PSEF). This role supports the Test Methods and Facilities Division, overseeing a technician workforce responsible for critical testing and maintenance of DoD propulsion systems.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Manage a technician team, ensuring safe and efficient test operations, test article preparation, and facility maintenance.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for safety and integration of DoD propulsion systems and subsystems into test cells and labs.
- Provide essential support to the Test Methods and Facilities Division within the Propulsion & Power Engineering Group.
- *Required Qualifications:**
- Minimum of one year of specialized experience equivalent to a GS-12/13 federal service, or comparable experience in the private or public sector.
- Demonstrated knowledge and practical application of maintenance and overhaul procedures for multiple DoD turbo-shaft jet engines.
- Strong technical background with excellent communication and organizational skills.
- A self-disciplined, proactive, and collaborative approach to problem-solving.
