Supervisory Engineering Technician

We are seeking an experienced professional to manage technical operations within our Propulsion System Evaluation Facility (PSEF). This role supports the Test Methods and Facilities Division, overseeing a technician workforce responsible for critical testing and maintenance of DoD propulsion systems.

• *Key Responsibilities:**
• Manage a technician team, ensuring safe and efficient test operations, test article preparation, and facility maintenance.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for safety and integration of DoD propulsion systems and subsystems into test cells and labs.
• Provide essential support to the Test Methods and Facilities Division within the Propulsion & Power Engineering Group.
• *Required Qualifications:**
• Minimum of one year of specialized experience equivalent to a GS-12/13 federal service, or comparable experience in the private or public sector.
• Demonstrated knowledge and practical application of maintenance and overhaul procedures for multiple DoD turbo-shaft jet engines.
• Strong technical background with excellent communication and organizational skills.
• A self-disciplined, proactive, and collaborative approach to problem-solving.
