Job Description

Lead and manage emergency management recovery programs, staff, and policy development to enhance service delivery.
This Supervisory Emergency Management Specialist (Recovery) position requires one year of specialized experience equivalent to the IC-13 level in the Federal government, or comparable experience in state/local government or the private sector. **Key Responsibilities & Requirements:** * **Leadership & Management:** Manage and direct subordinate staff, establish team workload priorities, and track initiative progress. * **Policy & Program Development:** Develop guidance for policy-based decisions and technical aspects of federal programs. * **Program Improvement:** Lead teams to enhance program delivery for customer service-based initiatives and projects. **Application & Resume Guidelines:** * Your resume must clearly demonstrate one year of the required specialized experience. * Limit your resume to five pages; only the first five will be reviewed. * Use your own words to describe your work history; avoid copying from the announcement. * Ensure your resume includes: job title, employer, start/end dates (MM/DD/YY), detailed duties, accomplishments, skills, and hours worked per week. * For Federal experience, include occupational series, grade level, and dates held. * For Reservist/DAE experience, list relevant deployment dates, job titles, and specific duties.
