Supervisory Aviation Safety Specialist (Section Manager)

This role requires a seasoned professional to lead and enhance aviation safety programs through strategic planning, resource management, and compliance with regulations.

• *Key Responsibilities:**
• Develop and contribute to strategic plans within a complex organizational framework.
• Create and implement techniques for continuous program improvement.
• Manage and direct the application of aviation safety regulations, policies, and objectives across various work activities.
• Establish project priorities and create detailed completion schedules.
• Utilize data for analytical insights to determine staffing and resource levels, identify trends, adjust programs, and enhance program quality and effectiveness.
• *Required Experience:**
• Minimum of one year of specialized experience equivalent to FV-J, FG/GS-14.
• Demonstrated experience in:

* Strategic planning for complex organizations. * Developing and implementing program improvement plans. * Managing aviation safety regulations and policies. * Setting priorities and establishing schedules. * Data-driven resource and staffing allocation, including trend analysis and program adjustment.
