Summary
Seeking a certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (GS-12) to optimize tactical performance and mitigate injury risks.
Join our team as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist (GS-12) to apply advanced methodologies in tactical strength and conditioning, conduct performance assessments, and mitigate injury risks in high-stress environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify physical and ergonomic stressors in tactical training to reduce occupational injury risk.
- Collect and analyze data to enhance physical readiness and human performance strategies.
- Evaluate physical training policies, advising on program implementation and sustainment.
- Conduct strength and conditioning assessments, track outcomes, and recommend program modifications.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's or graduate degree in a medical, health, or allied science field from an accredited institution.
- Certification (Mandatory): Current National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) is required by the announcement closing date.
- Experience: At least one year of specialized experience (comparable to GS-12 level), including:
Preferred Qualification:
- Possession of a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate.
