Job Description
Summary
Lead IT systems, policy, and modernization initiatives, driving strategic planning and operational efficiency across Information Operations.
- *Job Title:** Systems Program Manager (GS-14 Equivalent)
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Develop and implement policies, conduct studies on new trends, efficiency, business cases, and digital modernization.
- Lead strategic planning, including objective setting, goal definition, resource management, and metrics development.
- Create and monitor metrics to track the progress and health of technical and IT management processes.
- Provide management, policy direction, and administrative coordination to specialists, ensuring alignment of strategies and execution of roadmaps.
- Analyze and recommend organizational models for optimal fit within a rapidly evolving IT landscape.
- Modify operations, methods, and procedures to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of process and project workflows.
- *Qualifications:**
- Minimum of one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level (or comparable private sector experience).
- Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing policy, conducting business case analyses, and driving digital modernization.
- Proven ability in strategic planning, resource management, and developing performance metrics.
- Experience in providing management and policy direction for IT-related initiatives.
- Strong analytical skills for organizational modeling and process improvement.
- Meeting all federal eligibility requirements, including time-in-grade, by the closing date.
- *Note: Creditable experience includes paid and unpaid work, such as volunteer service.*
