## Strategic Card Partnerships Manager, Business Development (Hybrid)

Join Capital One's Card Partnerships team and drive aggressive expansion in the partner credit card segment. This role focuses on identifying, recruiting, and securing new card partners, playing a pivotal role in our growth strategy.

### About the Role As a Manager, you will lead new partner acquisition, from identifying target businesses to developing compelling strategies that win new accounts. You will work within a dynamic, cross-functional environment to expand Capital One's market presence.

### Key Responsibilities

  • **Strategy & Identification:** Identify and evaluate potential partner companies and brands; drive new partner acquisition strategy.
  • **Pitch Development:** Lead the creation of tailored pitch strategies, including comprehensive company/customer research, consumer value proposition development, and omni-channel marketing plans.
  • **RFP Management:** Manage internal and external teams through the RFP process, including written proposals and verbal presentations.
  • **Market Analysis:** Perform marketplace and industry analyses to uncover new product opportunities and partner plays.
  • **Cross-functional Collaboration:** Partner with stakeholders to manage RFP deadlines and seamlessly transition newly won business to vertical units.
  • **Project Leadership:** Design, develop, and manage complex project plans in a dynamic environment.

### Qualifications

  • *Basic Qualifications:**
  • Bachelor’s Degree or military experience.
  • At least 4 years of experience in Project or Process Management.
  • At least 2 years of experience with Microsoft Office or G Suite.
  • *Preferred Qualifications:**
  • MBA or Master’s degree.
  • 5+ years experience in Project or Process Management leading cross-functional projects.
  • 2+ years experience in financial services.
  • 2+ years experience in business analysis.
  • 2+ years experience in business development and external relationship management.
### Location & Salary

This is a Hybrid role. Salary ranges for full-time annual salaries are:

  • **Chicago, IL:** $144,000 - $164,400
  • **McLean, VA:** $158,400 - $180,800
This role is also eligible for performance-based incentive compensation.
