Summary
Lead statistical analysis and reporting for family advocacy programs, evaluating data to develop policies and strategies for child abuse prevention.
Join our team as a Statistician focused on critical Family Advocacy Programs. This role involves advanced statistical analysis and reporting to inform policy and strategy aimed at preventing and responding to child abuse and neglect in military families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, verify, and adjust data from diverse sources.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of research, data, and metrics for family advocacy programs.
- Analyze data, research, metrics, and trends to develop policy and strategy changes.
- Recommend data-driven solutions for program improvement.
- Lead the review of recurring metric requirements and reports for leadership.
- Draft comprehensive reports summarizing research on child abuse and neglect prevention and response.
Qualifications:
Basic Requirement (one of the following):
- **Education:** Bachelor's degree or higher including:
- **Combination of Education and Experience:** Courses as described above, plus professional statistical experience in areas like sampling, data collection/analysis, and applying statistical techniques (e.g., correlation, ANOVA, tests of significance).
Specialized Experience (Required):
- One year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-14 level, which includes:

- Education cannot be substituted for the specialized experience requirement.
- Applicants currently in the Federal service must meet a Time in Grade requirement (52 weeks at GS-14 or equivalent).
