Statistician to lead statistical research, analyze data, and present findings, requiring advanced degree and specialized experience.
## Statistician
- *Overview:**
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Plan and manage the methodological aspects of statistical research projects.
- Design and create surveys for effective data analysis.
- Prepare detailed technical reports based on statistical analyses.
- Present complex statistical results clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- *Qualifications:**
- *Basic Requirements (Meet ONE of the following):**
- **Education:** A Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree including at least 15 semester hours in statistics (or math/statistics with 6+ hours in statistics), plus 9 additional semester hours in related sciences (e.g., physical, biological, medical, education, engineering, or social sciences like demography, economics, psychology).
- **Combination of Education & Experience:** Education as described above PLUS professional statistical work experience. This experience must include:
- *Specialized Experience (GS-11 Equivalent):**
- At least one full-time year (12 months) of specialized work experience performing *all* of the following duties:
