Summary

Experienced Project Manager to lead critical construction projects for the U.S. Senate, requiring PMP and flexible availability.

Join our team as a Project Manager/Lead, overseeing essential construction projects for the U.S. Senate. This role demands a dedicated professional capable of ensuring continuous service under various conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage complex construction projects from initiation to completion.
  • Interpret, create, and update construction documents and blueprints.
  • Analyze and negotiate construction quotes and contracts.
  • Efficiently manage multiple projects concurrently, minimizing delays.
  • Apply knowledge of building codes, safety standards (including ADA), and project management best practices.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5-8 years of Project Management experience.
  • 2 years of experience as a Lead or Supervisor.
  • PMP Certification is mandatory.
  • Availability for immediate recall during emergencies.
  • Ability to work during government shutdowns, inclement weather, holidays, weekends, and late nights to ensure essential services.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience in both commercial and federal construction projects.
  • Proficiency with project management software, databases, CAD, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Industry certifications (e.g., CCM, LEED AP, PE, RA, NCIDQ).
  • Strong interpersonal skills.

Working Conditions:

  • Sedentary role with occasional travel.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
