Summary
Seeking a licensed Staff Psychologist (GS-13) to deliver psychological treatments, assessments, and consultation in a healthcare setting.
This Staff Psychologist position at the GS-13 level involves providing comprehensive psychological services within a healthcare setting. You will apply a wide range of professional treatments and assessment methods to diverse patient populations, design and implement effective treatment strategies, and incorporate new clinical procedures. The role also includes providing professional advice and consultation on psychological and behavioral health matters, and engaging in clinical research activities as needed.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Deliver professional psychological treatments and assessments to various patient populations.
- Develop and implement effective, evidence-based treatment strategies.
- Provide expert advice and consultation in professional psychology and behavioral health.
- Participate in clinical research activities, including design, implementation, data acquisition, and documentation.
- *Basic Requirements:**
- **Citizenship:** United States Citizenship.
- **Education:** Doctoral degree in psychology from an APA, PCSAS, or CPA accredited program (excluding School Psychology). Official transcripts required.
- **Internship:** Successful completion of an APA or CPA accredited professional psychology internship.
- **Licensure:** Hold a full, current, and unrestricted doctoral-level license to practice psychology in a U.S. State, Territory, Commonwealth, or the District of Columbia.
- **Language:** Proficient in spoken and written English.
- *Experience (GS-13):**
- A minimum of two years of post-doctoral experience as a professional psychologist, including at least one year equivalent to the GS-12 level.
- Demonstrated expertise in applying professional psychological treatments, providing expert consultation, and possessing strong knowledge of clinical research literature.
- *Preferred Qualifications:**
- Experience in Primary Care Mental Health Integration (PCMHI) programs.
- Proficiency in delivering care using virtual modalities.
- Demonstrated experience with evidence-based psychotherapies.
- *Physical Requirements:**
- Primarily sedentary light work, including sitting, standing, and occasional lifting of objects weighing less than 20 pounds.
