Job Description
Summary
Lead federal sustainment, restoration, modernization, and environmental programs, managing projects, policies, and teams.
Lead the Sustainment, Restoration, Modernization, and Environmental Division as a GS-15 Chief. This pivotal role involves strategic planning, project oversight, and team leadership across critical federal infrastructure and environmental initiatives.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Develop and deliver clear presentations and written communications on complex programs to diverse stakeholders, ensuring effective understanding and collaboration.
- Oversee, plan, manage, and direct teams providing essential support services.
- Manage Sustainment, Restoration, Modernization (SRM) and Military Construction (MILCON) projects, including planning, programming, budgeting, and design review.
- Guide engineer maintenance and construction programs, aligning strategies with organizational objectives and DoD guidance.
- Formulate broad policies and establish long-range objectives for comprehensive service support.
- *Qualifications:**
- One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 level (or equivalent in federal, military, or private sector).
- Proven experience in:
- Must meet all federal eligibility requirements (e.g., time-in-grade) by the closing date.
- *Note on Experience:** Both paid and unpaid (volunteer) experience that builds relevant competencies, knowledge, and skills will be credited.
