Sr. Software Front-End Web UI Developer

SAIC is seeking a motivated **Sr. Software Front-End Web UI Developer** to join our agile, remote team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performing user interfaces for web applications, ensuring they are responsive, accessible, and align with UX best practices.

• *Key Responsibilities:**
• Lead UI design, development, and integration for web applications.
• Implement engaging user interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., **Angular**).
• Collaborate closely with UX designers, back-end developers, and stakeholders.
• Ensure application performance, scalability, and responsiveness across devices.
• Actively participate in agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups and sprints.
• Apply front-end engineering best practices, emphasizing code modularization and reusability.
• Develop automated tests (unit, integration, end-to-end) and support CI/CD pipelines.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for designs, components, and implementation details.
• Utilize development tools such as **Visual Studio Code, Git, and Azure DevOps**.
• *Required Qualifications:**
• **Education:** Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Web Development, Graphic Design, or a related technical discipline with 8+ years of experience.
• **Experience:** 8+ years in front-end web development and UI implementation, including developing enterprise-grade, responsive web applications in agile environments.
• **Technical Skills:**

* Proficiency in **HTML5, CSS3 (SASS/LESS), JavaScript (ES6+), and TypeScript**. * Expertise with **front-end frameworks** such as React, Angular, or Vue.js, and state management libraries like Redux. * Experience with **RESTful APIs** and **JSON** data integration. * Strong understanding of **UI/UX principles, accessibility standards (WCAG)**, and responsive web design. * Familiarity with **unit testing frameworks** (e.g., Jest, Jasmine, Mocha, Cypress). * Knowledge of **CI/CD practices** and **version control systems (Git)**. * Understanding of web security best practices.

• **Soft Skills:** Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork abilities; capacity to work independently and meet deadlines.

• Experience with design systems and component libraries.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and containerized deployments (Docker, Kubernetes).
