Capital One seeks a Senior Front End/Full-Stack Engineer (3+ years) with Angular/React, AWS, and cloud solution experience.
Capital One is seeking a passionate Sr. Software Engineer, Front End / Full-Stack, to build innovative cloud-based solutions using cutting-edge open-source frameworks. This role is crucial in driving a major technological transformation.
- *What You'll Do:**
- Develop front-end applications using a test-driven development approach.
- Lead the technical design and development of cross-functional, multi-platform application systems.
- Collaborate with digital product managers to deliver robust, cloud-based solutions.
- Mentor engineers, stay current with tech trends, and experiment with new technologies.
- Utilize programming languages and frameworks including JavaScript (Angular, React, Node), HTML/CSS, TypeScript, Java, open-source frameworks, and RESTful web services for cross-browser and cross-device development.
- *Basic Qualifications:**
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- At least 3 years of professional software engineering experience (internship experience not applicable).
- *Preferred Qualifications:**
- 5+ years of experience in JavaScript (ES6+), React, Angular, Node, TypeScript, or Java.
- 2+ years of experience with open-source state management and reactive programming frameworks for Angular (e.g., Redux, NgRX).
- 1+ year of experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or another cloud service.
- 1+ year of experience with AWS Fargate.
- 3+ years of experience in open-source frameworks, GraphQL (Apollo Client), micro frontends, CI/CD pipelines, and testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Cypress, Storybook).
- 1+ year of experience in Agile practices, front-end performance optimization(s), and component-based architecture.

- *Salary Range:** Annual salaries range by location and are eligible for performance-based incentive compensation.

- New York, NY: $173,000 - $197,400
- Richmond, VA: $144,200 - $164,600
