Summary

Lead Okta IAM design and deployment as a Sr. Okta Engineer, D.C. hybrid, contract-to-hire, requiring Public Trust.

## Senior Okta Engineer (Contract-to-Hire)

*Location:** Washington, D.C. (Hybrid - On-site several times per month near NoMa Metro)

*Compensation:** $65 - $75/hr.

*Clearance:** Must be able to obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD Public Trust. Active Public Trust or Suitability strongly preferred.

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Okta Engineer to lead the design, deployment, and optimization of Okta-based Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions. This is a 3-month contract-to-hire opportunity with a focus on delivering robust and secure identity systems.

*Key Responsibilities:**
Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of Okta solutions.
Manage and optimize Okta integrations with various applications and services.
Develop and enforce identity governance policies and security best practices.
Provide technical expertise and mentorship in Okta products and IAM principles.
Ensure high availability and performance of Okta-based identity infrastructure.

*Requirements:**
Proven experience as a Senior Okta Engineer or similar role.
Deep expertise in Okta platform functionalities, including SSO, MFA, API Access Management, and Lifecycle Management.
Strong understanding of identity management concepts, protocols (SAML, OAuth, OIDC), and security best practices.
Ability to work effectively in a hybrid on-site/remote model.
Eligibility to obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD Public Trust clearance.
