Special Events And Entertainment Coordinator

Join our team as a Special Events & Entertainment Program Specialist. You will be instrumental in the planning, execution, and oversight of large-scale special events and entertainment programs for military personnel. This role requires strong organizational, financial, and communication skills to ensure successful program delivery.

• *Key Responsibilities:**
• Plan and execute a variety of special events, including commercial concerts, holiday programs, and popular entertainment shows.
• Manage operational policies and administrative procedures for event oversight.
• Administer and manage financial aspects, including budgeting, cost and profitability analysis, and procurement for programs.
• Assess program effectiveness using qualitative and quantitative indicators.
• *Requirements:**
• **Experience:** Minimum 4 years of specialized experience in Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) special events and entertainment programs within the Navy or another military branch.
• **Program Management:** Proven knowledge of executing large-scale events, recreation program management, and MWR operational policies.
• **Financial Acumen:** Strong understanding of financial management, including budgeting, cost analysis, internal controls, and procurement.
• **Organizational Knowledge:** Familiarity with organizational structures and missions relevant to MWR programs (e.g., CNIC).
• **Communication:** Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including originating correspondence and editing publications.
• **Technical Proficiency:** Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
