Summary

GEICO seeks a Senior UX/UI Designer to create customer-centered solutions, collaborating with product, engineering, and business teams.

GEICO is seeking an accomplished, customer-obsessed, and results-oriented **Senior UX/UI Designer** to deliver high-quality, customer-centered design solutions. This role involves collaboration with product management, engineering, and business partners within a multi-disciplinary design and research team.

This is a hybrid position requiring 3 days on-site weekly at one of the following locations: Chevy Chase, MD; New York City, NY; Chicago, IL; Palo Alto, CA; Fredericksburg, VA.

  • *Key Responsibilities:**
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to identify customer and business needs.
  • Translate complex concepts into clear, enhanced product experiences.
  • Provide direction on product prioritization and early product definition amidst shifting priorities.
  • Champion the customer through human-centered design methods, including discovery, research, and user testing.
  • Facilitate workshops with internal and external stakeholders to align on business needs.
  • Develop process/user flows, wireframes, journey maps, and user interface specifications.
  • Deliver design assets for acceptance, development, and market release in partnership with engineering.
  • *Basic Qualifications:**
  • 5+ years of experience in User Experience design (or 3+ years with a Master's degree).
  • *Preferred Qualifications:**
  • Experience designing for cross-channel interfaces (e.g., responsive web, native mobile).
  • Demonstrated ability to work across the entire design process (user research, UX design, UI design, and specifications).
  • Strong collaboration skills with Product Management, Engineering, and Operations teams.
  • Effective communication and storytelling abilities.
  • Proficiency with design tools (e.g., Figma) for concept delivery and team collaboration.
  • Familiarity with established design systems and agile development environments.
  • *Salary Range:**
$104,550.00 - $172,200.00 annually (Factors like experience, education, location, and market conditions influence final offer).
