Senior UX/UI Designer (AI) - Hybrid

GEICO is hiring a **Senior UX/UI Designer**

• *Location:** Hybrid role, requiring 3 days/week on-site in Chevy Chase, MD; Chicago, IL; Palo Alto, CA; Fredericksburg, VA; Seattle, WA; or Manhattan, NYC.
• *About the Role:**

We are seeking a customer-obsessed and results-oriented Senior UX/UI Designer to lead the creation of intuitive user experiences that responsibly incorporate Generative AI. You will collaborate closely with product management, engineering, and data science teams to deliver impactful solutions aligned with customer and business needs. This role focuses on advancing UX/UI design within the emerging AI landscape.

• *Key Responsibilities:**
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to identify customer and business needs.
• Translate complex concepts into clear, enhanced product experiences.
• Navigate and apply emerging ML, AI, and Generative AI trends to deliver high-quality design solutions.
• Champion a responsible and ethical approach to AI in products and services.
• Provide design direction amidst shifting priorities to inform product prioritization and early definition.
• Advocate for users through human-centered design methods, including discovery, research, and user testing.
• Facilitate workshops with internal and external stakeholders to align on business needs.
• Create process flows, user flows, wireframes, journey maps, and user interface specifications.
• Deliver final design assets for development and market release in partnership with engineering.
• *Qualifications:**
• **Required:**

* 5+ years of User Experience (UX) design experience (or 3+ years with a Master's degree). * 2+ years of experience with Generative AI, virtual agents, or similar products.

• **Preferred:**

* Experience designing for cross-channel interfaces (e.g., responsive web, native mobile). * Proven ability to work collaboratively with AI/ML and Data Science teams. * Experience with multi-modal Generative AI platforms. * Demonstrated ability to work across the entire design process (user research, UX design, UI design, specifications). * Solid knowledge of ML, AI, and Generative AI systems and capabilities. * Strong collaboration skills with Product Management, Engineering, and Operations teams. * Effective communication and storytelling skills. * Proficiency with design tools (e.g., Figma). * Familiarity with established design systems and agile development teams.

• *Salary Range:**

$104,550.00 - $172,200.00 annually. The final salary will be determined by multiple factors including experience, education, training, work location, and market considerations.
